A prayerful retreat
Christian family retreat within the extensive grounds of
Mount Olive Ministries
Paul Knights, the owner of Mount Olive, began to create a plantation of Christmas trees some 40 years ago, and for 25 years ran a successful 'pick and park' business. Intermittent removal of trees and planting of new broad-leaved trees over this period has created an area of mature woodland with meandering walkways and open glades.
At the start of the new millennium, in 2000, Paul felt led by the Lord Jesus Christ to build a place of prayer and worship, (a church), on the land, and he continues to be the Pastor of Mount Olive Ministries today.
Mount Olive is a Christian ministry, open to both believers and non-believers who are seeking rest, healing, restoration, and refilling of the Holy Spirit. It is open throughout the week for prayer meetings, worship and ministry, and the door is open for you to join with us, or not, as you so choose.
Open-air breakfasts in the woods are held on the second and last Saturdays of the month. The Sunday service of teaching, communion and worship begins at 10.30am and all are welcome to stay on for our fellowship lunch afterwards.
